Itasha

Seguramente habreis visto muchas carrocerias con personajes de series anime/videojuegos. Pues bien, este fenomeno recibe el nombre de “Itasha“, o traducido como “coche doloroso” ya que la inversion que conlleva customizar el vehiculo no es poca o tambien el coraje necesario para poder sacar el coche a la calle bajo muchisimas miradas. El fenomeno es bastante desconocido en España, pero triunfa bastante en Japon donde se celebran concentraciones como la Ita-G Festa

There is a new art, it´s not in canvas, but 4 wheeled and roaming the roads of the lands of the Rising Sun. This phenomena is called “Itasha“, which literally means “pain car” regarding the high cost involved in such customization. Or the courage needed to take it to the streets and be stared by almost everyone. It´s very popular and even meetings take place being the famous one the Ita-G Festa.
